Seesaw is the school’s home learning app. 

All children have their own Seesaw account which can be accessed by scanning a unique QR or alphanumerical code via the ‘Seesaw Class’ app which can be downloaded from the Andriod or Apple store.

Each child will have their learning journal for the year displayed in the app. They will be able to complete homework and home learning tasks (if they are absent for a prolonged period of time) and publish them for their teacher to comment and mark. 

The Class Teacher will set homework on a Friday which we would like your child to complete by the following Thursday at the latest to enable staff to feedback to your child.

At Rowena Academy we also use Purple Mash to meet several areas of the curriculum. In particular it helps us to deliver parts of the Computing curriculum in a child friendly way and to encourage problem solving abilities. In addition to computing there are many reading, writing and mathematical activities, which often cross different areas of the curriculum.

Every pupil is given a Purple Mash Login card in Nursery which is valid for all four year groups.
